Formación de líderes sociales para el desarrollo local: una aproximación desde la innovación social

This paper is aimed to share an interdisciplinary social intervention proposal based on a social innovation approach. This social intervention took place in the city of Santiago (Chile), in the context of the implementation of a school for social leaders. This paper entails a theoretical-methodological approach, linking social innovation and local development. Moreover, this work describes both the educative process of social leaders and the results of the social intervention. Finally, this paper suggests that educating social leaders, based on the aforementioned approach, could be directly linked to the local development process.
