EPR-type experiment with variable correlation
1989
Abstract By suitably varying a magnetic field it is possible to modify the polarization correlation of photon pairs emitted in an atomic cascade. The measurement of two appropriately defined observables allows one to study the transition from a strongly correlated polarization state to a completely uncorrelated state. The quantum mechanical predictions for this transition are discussed.
