The present invention relates to a test arrangement (10) for testing a shock absorber (26), in particular a shock absorber (26) of a motor vehicle, comprising: a vibration generator (22) for generating vibrations (28), wherein the vibration generator (22) to the to vibration test (26) is mechanically connected to transmit the generated vibrations (28) on the test vibration damper (26), a support frame (12) to which the vibration generator (22) is mounted, and a soundboard (30) which is mechanically connected to the vibration damper to be tested (26) to be detected by the vibration transmitted (26) sound waves (38).
