2004
In the approach of educational anthropology and through anthropological field work, this paper gives a phenomenological analysis of the causes of the low academic achievement in the mountainous region of the Lahu nationality. In addition, the attribution theory of the West is introduced in a native way to explain the reasons. Furthermore, multicultural integration education theory is suggested to improve the low education status in minority areas.
