Connecting device for optical multicore fiber-based optical elements for free space

A connection device for optical multicore fiber based optical components in free space. This device comprises a first optical means (36) which is refractive or diffractive and at least one second optical means (38, 40) is diffractive. The first means diverges the light beams exiting the cores (30) of the fiber (28) to an area where these beams are spatially separated and have cross-sections and sizes compatible with the spatial bandwidth of the second means. The latter is placed in this area and directs the beams independently of each other, to corresponding optical components (34). Application to optical telecommunications.
