DEPRESSANT FOR PRODUCTION OF TGF-$g(b)

A medicine composition comprising, as an active component, an oleanane derivative represented by formula (1), wherein Me represents methyl, with respect to X, Y and Z; any of (1), (2), (3) and (4) is selected: (1) X and Z together represents a bonding and Y represents hydrogen; (2) X and Y together represents an oxo and Z represents hydrogen; (3) X represents hydroxy and each of Y and Z represents hydrogen; (4) Y represents hydroxy and each of X and Z represents hydrogen; R1 represents (1) hydroxy, (2) a substituted or unsubstituted monoalkylamino, (3) a substituted or unsubstituted cyclic amino, (4) a substituted or unsubstituted alkoxy, or the like; R2 represents (1) hydroxy, (2) a substituted or unsubstituted sulfoxy, (3) a substituted or unsubstituted phosphoxy, (4) a substituted or unsubstituted acyloxy, or the like; R3 represents (1) hydrogen, (2) hydroxy, (3) a substituted or unsubstituted sulfoxy, (4) a substituted or unsubstituted phosphoxy, (5) a substituted or unsubstituted acyloxy, or the like; or a pharmaceutically acceptable salt thereof. The medicine composition is useful as a depressant for production of TGF-β.
