Wireless sensor networks and its MAC protocols

Nowadays,Wireless Sensor Network(WSN) is a research hotspot in the information field.WSN has widely application prospects in martial affairs,environment,medical treatment and nursing,intelligent housing and attracts broad attention from all over the world.This paper firstly introduced the relevant theoretical knowledge of WSN in brief and afterward classified the patterns according to typical MAC(Media Access Control) protocols used by WSN.
