Analysis and Performance Evaluation of Web Server Extensible Architecture Implementing Cluster and Load Balance

Configuring Tomcat clusters based on Apache and Nginx respectively, and comparing the performance including TPS (Transaction Per Second) and ART (Average Response Time) under the same network environment, a more extensible structure combining the effectiveness and resource-saving of Nginx and the flexibility and popularity of Apache is designed. Finally the analysis, design and the performance test of the proposed web server cluster are demonstrated superior on performance and practical operation.
