Entity Name Recognition in Job Postings and Resumes

Searching for jobs online on popular websites is extremely useful in serving as an important tool for job seekers and employers for many years. Despite their valuable benefit in linking employers' needs to potential employees, job search websites' search and filtering technologies struggle to keep up with innovations. As a solution to the aforementioned problems, a system has been considered to determine both the abilities of the candidate and the skills required from the job posting. For this purpose, a system has been implemented that removes the skills of the candidate from the resume and the desired skills for the job from the job advertisement. Entity name recognition and fastText text classification methods are used to extract information from the relevant texts.
