An Approach to Recognize Learning Scenario in Smart Environment

Learning scenario recognition is a precondition for a smart learning system to recommend personalized learning resources,to connect learners with others,and to recommend learning activities.This paper analyzes conditions for recognizing learning scenarios,including models of learner,learning activity,domain knowledge,time-space,and learning scenarios.Then,a conceptual model is proposed,consisting of three components: information collection,dynamic modeling,and learning scenario reasoning.Based on this model,recent status and key technologies associated with learner modeling,learning activity modeling,and learning scenario reasoning is introduced.
