Actis 1 Astrogeodynamics is a growing activity in astro-nomical research. Observatorio Astronomico FelixAguilartakespartofitbymeansofPhotoelectricAs-trolabePA2observationsfromSanJuan, Argentina. Here we present a comparison between Instan-taneous Latitude Variation and data published byIERS, for the period February 1992 to December2002. The resulting curve has been obtained fromobservations of the Fundamental Stars Groups, com-puting weight values of Latitude Variation for eachnight, previously corrected for Pole Movement.Finallyweanalyzethepossibilityofarelationbe-tween this curve and the occurrence of earthquakesof more than 5 magnitudes (Mercalli scale). 1 Observatorio Astronomico Felix Aguilar, San Juan, Ar-gentina.
