Reliability and validity test of Organizational Justice Scale in nursing field

Objective To test the reliability and validity of organizational justice scale in nursing field. Method The reliability and validity of organizational justice scale were tesed in a sample of 298 nurses from three hospitals in Beijing. Results The final scale included three factors( interactional justice,procedural justice and distributive justice) and 21 items. Project analysis showed that the 21 items discrimination degree indexes ranged from 0. 413 to 0. 651,the Cronbach's α coefficient ranged from 0. 512 to 0. 786. The Cronbach 's α coefficient of the scale was 0. 944,with those of the three subscales ranging from 0. 869 to 0. 950. The test-retest reliability of the scale was 0. 776. The split-half reliability of the scale was 0. 921. The content validity of the scale was 0. 990. The cumulated contribution ratio of structure validity was 64. 431%. Conclusion The organizational justice scale is proved to be reliable and valid, which can be used in nursing field.
