Marsectobiose (1), a disaccharide isolated from Marsdenia erectaR. Br., is shown to be 4-O-(3-O-methyl-6-deoxy-β-D-glucopyranosyl)-3-O-methyl-2, 6-dideoxy-D-arabinohexose.
