Bracket for fastening plate-like material on a substructure

The invention relates to a fixing device (10), for the fixing of sheet material, for example, glass panes (12) of a glass facade, to a sub-structure (14). According to the invention, the fixing device (10) is formed with a support (16), in which support elements (22), hinged off to the side, may be placed, to which the glass panes may be adjustably fitted. The invention has the advantage that glass panes (12) can be fitted in an easy and cost-effective manner with a tension-free and temperature expansion compensating fitting.
