Making Verb Frames for Bangla Vector Verbs.

This paper is an initial attempt to make verb frames for some Bangla verbs. For this purpose, I have selected 15 verbs which are used as vectors in the compound verb constructions of Bangla. The frames are made to show their number of arguments as well as case markings on those arguments when these verbs are ued alone and when they form part of compound verb constructions. This work can be extended further to make similar verb frames for all other verbs and can be used as a rich lexical resource.
