This paper addresses the theme of collaboration and sharing as capacity buildingapproaches to promote inclusion in a number of educational contexts. The sixsymposium papers presented as Collaboration in teacher professional learning:Universities, school systems schools and teachers summarized in this paper, bringtogether the work from a network of researchers and educators engaged in inclusiveeducation reform in Australia, Ireland, the United States, and Mexico. Thecontributors address collaboration between university staff, schools, and teachers ina number of ways that have increased the capacity of schools and teachers torespond to inclusive education imperatives within their respective school systems.
