Monitoring of E-Learning System Servers Using the MariaDB Galera Cluster

In this paper, an approach is proposed for system monitoring from a remotely accessible terminal. The target of our e-learning system consists of schools in the rural villages of developing countries. These schools face problems such as a lack of learning resources and instructors. The situation is even more serious in the mountainous region of Nepal. Because this area is high in altitude and the weather is irregular, power can be intermittent because of lightning, which affects network communication and server functions. For such an unstable environment, we have developed a cluster-based e-learning system that can be used independently for each school, even when the network is disconnected.
