Self-Organizing Localization with multiplexed topology for smart devices in indoor space

Previously, we have shown SmartFinder as an indoor localization system of many mobile smart devices with three anchor nodes without prepared measurements. It can localize smart devices with high accuracy. Unfortunately, its accuracy deteriorates with a small number of smart devices in indoor space. In this paper, we propose a SmartFinder with multiplexed topology, which virtually increases the number of devices by handling each moving location of the mobile devices in discrete time as multiple locations of each different device, and show our new proposed method’s effectiveness.
