Rationally designed organelle-specific thermally activated delayed fluorescence small molecular organic probes for time-resolved biological applications

Two organelle-specific small molecular organic thermally activated delayed fluorescence (TADF) probes were developed, which represented the longest average fluorescence lifetime in time-resolved fluorescence imaging studies in cells among so far reported TADF probes.
