Knockdown of long non‐coding RNA ANRIL inhibits proliferation, migration, and invasion but promotes apoptosis of human glioma cells by upregulation of miR‐34a

ANRIL suppression inhibits growth, promotes apoptosis, and upregulates miR‐34a. MiR‐34a is a direct negative regulator of Sirt1 expression. Sirt1 activates the PI3K/AKT and mTOR signaling pathways.
