Synthesis of green reagent potassium ferrate and its application in water treatment

K2FeO4 has been synthesized by oxidation of hypochlorite,and this preparation method has been improved. The purity of K2FeO4 can be accurately determined by the method of chromite.The treatment of high concentrateion of AN by K2FeO4 was investigated. The results show that K2FeO4 was a high efficient multipurpose green water treatment agent.
