Identification server for identifying a person to be identified

The invention relates to an identification server (100) for identifying a person to be identified, comprising: a memory (101) for providing a plurality of personal data sets which different persons are assigned, each personal data set comprises a transformed by means of a personalized transformation rule reference biometric of a person; a communication interface (105) for receiving an individual identification via a communication network, wherein the personal identifier of the person to be identified is assigned; and a processor (103) which is adapted to read out from the received individual identification an indication of the personalized transformation rule that is associated with the person to be identified from the memory (101); wherein the communication interface (105) is designed to send out a request for the transmission of a transformed by means of the personalized transformation rule biometric feature of the person to be identified over the communication network, wherein the request includes a reference to the personalized transformation rule, wherein the communication interface (105) further is formed , the transformed biometric feature of the person to be identified via the communication network to receive; and wherein the processor (103) is adapted to compare the received transformed feature with the transformed biometric reference biometric feature to identify the person to be identified.
