Satisfaction of the employees at Clinic for Psychiatric Disorders 'Dr Laza Lazarevic' Belgrade (2015)

Introduction: Job satisfaction is a positive emotional reaction and attitudes of the individual receives his work. The aim of study was to establish the level of employee satisfaction and to identify the determinants of employees' satisfaction / dissatisfaction. Method: The research of employee satisfaction every year carried out in one day, in all health institutions. All employees are present at work on the day of the interview, filled out the anonymous questionnaire recommended by the Institute for Public Health 'Dr Milan Jovanovic Batut'. Results: The employees have shown the greatest degree of satisfaction of the available time to work with patients and do the job, direct cooperation with colleagues and superiors, as they were most dissatisfied with the adequacy of work equipment, financial compensation for their work, the possibility of professional development and management and organization work in the institution. As determinants of employees' satisfaction / dissatisfaction of singled out the possibility of professional development and the opportunity to share ideas superiors. Conclusion: The satisfaction of employees in 2015 was slightly increased compared to earlier years, although it still needs to work on raising the level of satisfaction of employees, primarily in terms of internal factors of employees' satisfaction.
