PacWastePlus Waste Legislative Review Regional Solutions Assessment

This report was prepared by the University of Melbourne (UoM) consultancy team as part of the PacWastePlus Waste Legislative Review project for the Secretariat of the Pacific Regional Environment Programme (SPREP). The UoM team reviewed laws on waste management related to the priority waste streams of healthcare waste, asbestos, e-waste, recyclables, plastic waste, bulky waste, organic waste, disaster waste and wastewater in 14 Pacific region countries and Timor-Leste (the ‘participating countries’).
