Lymphocyte typing in pigs: evidence for antigen L 1
2009
Summary
Absorption studies of cytotoxic sera which had been obtained after immunizing pigs with lymphocytes from lymph nodes or blood with the leucocyte component retained, showed that one of 18 investigated sera was ‘operationally’ monospecific. The lymphocyte antigen detected by this reagent was designated L 1. Family studies proved that the antigen is inherited as a dominant mendelian trait.
