El despoblado de Alcañicejo (Tosos, Zaragoza) y su iglesia de influencia cisterciense

El edificio mejor conservado, aunque en ruinas, es la iglesia parroquial de San Bartolome. Su estilo, con elementos romanicos y protogoticos, se caracteriza por un notable influjo cisterciense procedente de la abadia de Rueda. La principal caracteristica de la iglesia de Alcanicejo es la combinacion en su construccion de la piedra y el ladrillo. Se trata, en suma de un interesante ejemplo de la arquitectura de repoblacion del siglo XIII. EnglishIn the vicinity of Tosos (Zaragoza) is located the depopulated Alcanicejo or Alcaniz de la Huerva, an ancient hish or Andalusian fortification repopulated after the Aragonese conquest. The best preserved building, although in ruins, is the parish church of San Bartolome. Its style, with Romanesque and Protogothic elements, is characterized by a remarkable Cistercian influence from the Abbey of Rueda. The main characteristic of the church of Alcanicejo is the combination of stone and brick in its construction. It is, in sum, an interesting example of the repopulation architecture of the 13th century
