Emociones positivas: posibles factores que inciden en la resiliencia durante la niñez

The following investigation develops in order to analyze the role of positive emotions towards levels of resilience in adverse contexts. The sample includes children from 8 to 10 years old that assist regularly to a school located at a rural zone of Quito District called San Miguel de Nono. Positive Psychology has been considered as theoretical reference. Also, the results of previous investigations are included in order to know which has been the development of the study in these topics and how this investigation may contribute to science. The methodology combines both quantitative and qualitative approaches and uses a stratified sampling. The study concludes with a program focused on the prevention of psychological disorders in children based on the promotion of positive emotions as developers of other protective factors which contribute the capacity of resilience.
