Carbon nanodots: Chemiluminescence, fluorescence and photoluminescence properties

Abstract Carbon being another among several highly common natural elements, consisting of numerous varieties of beneficial substances likes nanomaterials. These Carbon nanodots have evolved potential due to its exemplary characteristics, although reliably soluble in liquid, more tolerance to bleaching and chemically inert. This paper explores the various types of synthesis process of carbon nanodots. As fullerene, latest type of carbon tubes, known as carbon dots is motivating a lot of research. The properties of carbon tubes are discussed in this work. The process such as fluorescence, photoluminescence and Chemiluminescence is reviewed.
