Role Conflict Among Women Doctors in Srinagar Kashmir (J&K)

The study of 200 women medical professional was carried out to know about their role conflict status. It was carried out through micro sociological framework in order to get insight into social performance in medical professionals and their families the present study focuses on work, family role conflict among women doctors employed in Government Hospitals in Srinagar City. The major hypothesis of the study are that women who work in medical professional employee different strategies to reduce role conflict than work role. The finding support with the hypothesis that the women Doctor’s working in different Hospitals spend less time with children on family and most of the women Doctor’s have  to do their domestic roles and their hours of work are increasing.
