The Application of Theoretical Variance#1 Method and Lifting Wavelet for Optic Gyroscopes

In order to achieve a particular desired result for de-noising the random noises of optic gyroscopes in Inertial Measurement Unit under disturbing circumstance, the Theoretical variance#1 was applied to determine the characteristics of the various types of error terms in the gyroscope gyros output by performing certain operations on the entire length of data, which improves the confidence efficiently and evaluation precision than conventional variance methods. Meanwhile, the application of the lifting wavelet transform has been implemented in de-noising the stochastic noise generated for a gyroscope gyro. Experimental results have validated the feasibility of the proposed filtering method, which is more effective than the traditional de-noising methods.
