Intervenções de saúde com familiares de crianças e adolescentes com câncer

Introdution: The process of childhood and adolescent illness due to cancer interferes in the family dynamics, being able to change the routine, the physical, psycho-emotional, psychosocial and financial aspects of the family's life. Objetive: To determine the scientific production of health interventions performed with families or relatives of children and adolescents with cancer. Method: Integrative review, based on the research question: "What health interventions in the scientific literature are carried out with families or relatives of children and adolescents in cancer treatment?". The survey of Latin American and Caribbean Literature in Health Sciences, National Library of Medicine National Institutes of Health and Medical Literature Analysis and Retrieval System Online occurred in April 2018, identified through a search strategy adapted to each electronic database. Inclusion criteria were original articles that were available in Portuguese, English or Spanish, available in full, free and online, and in the time cut between 2007 and 2017. The data were organized through the PICOT strategy. Results: Of the 21 selected studies, 20 were of the English language and one Spanish, predominating level of evidence II; the majority of the interventions were performed with parents, with predominance of psychoeducational interventions with educational, training and counseling sessions. Conclusion: The study contributes to conceptualize and implement intervention approaches, as it offers suggestions that can be incorporated into multiprofessional care practice in the management of childhood and juvenile cancer.
