Existing information, knowledge and content infrastructures are currently facing challenging problems in terms of scalability, management and integration of various content and services. The latest technology trends, including SemanticWeb Services, Grid computing and Intelligent Content Objects provide the technological means to address parts of the previously mentioned problems.
