SPE-GC-ECD determination of 21 organochlorine pesticides residue in ginseng

Objective:To establish a new method for determination of the residue of 21 organochlorine pesticides(OCPs) in ginseng.Methods:The samples were extracted by water-actone (1:2,v/v),and then partition with n-hexane,respectively,the extract was purified by florisil SPE column,and GC-ECD and the dual column were employed to determine the 21 OCPS residue.Results:There were good linear relationships over the range of 0.89-1690 μg·L-1 for 21 OCPs.The detection limit is between 0.001-2.23 μg·L-1.The percentage recoveries from the samples (n=9) at three level was between 85.4%-115.4%,RSD was between 11.3%-19.0%,respectively.Conclusion:The established method is simple,it can be used to determine the 21 OCPs in ginseng.
