"I completed two consecutive academic programs in different departments at NPS while working full-time: Product development for the 21st century (PD21) and the Software Engineering PhD Program. The high caliber and general intellectual curiosity of the faculty made an immediate impression on me. Learning from those that have "lived" what they are now teaching made such a difference in the delivery of the course content. Having the background of these academic programs modernized my view of the field that I work in, and equipped me to conduct broadly applicable research in systems and software engineering."
