ACTPHAST4R: European Open Access Platform for Photonics Prototyping to Support Innovation-Driven Researchers

ACTPHAST for Researchers - abbreviated as ACTPHAST4R - is a European Union supported initiative that is specifically designed to providing access for photonics and non-photonics researchers to advanced photonics technology platforms, with the aim to demonstrate their conceptual breakthroughs with industrially-relevant equipment. In this paper, we summarize the premises on which ACTPHAST4R builds and how innovation-driven researchers can benefit from ACTPHAST4R support, more specifically how they can gain open access to the best photonics prototyping platforms in Europe.
