The Role of Hydrogen-Bond in Constructing Supramolecule [Cu(C_6H_4NO_2)_2(H_2O)_3·H_2O]

2004
The Cu~(2+) complex with many kinds of hydrogen bond was synthesized under hydrothermal condition. The crystal structure of the compound was determined by the single-crystal X-ray diffraction. The result shows that the crystal possesses three-dimensional infinite network structure constructed by many kinds of hydrogen bond, forming the supramolecule. The various kinds of hydrogen bond in the compound and their effect on the crystal structure are discussed. Also, the IR. UV-VIS-NIR spectra of the complex were measured and analyzed.
