Feasibility of environmental protection industry of thermal power in China

In order to reduce the pollutants caused by coal-fired power generation,China needs large amounts of investment.From the experience of developed countries,Environmental Protection Fund of Thermal Power Industry(EPFTPI) is an effective mode of financing.China should give full play to the role of market mechanisms in order to attract international organizations,domestic and foreign enterprises and individuals to invest in this field.Moreover,it is necessary to shift from the practice of sole government investor to that of multiple investors and from the state planning fund management to market operation fund management,therefore improving the scale and efficiency of EPFTPI.
