Low temperature specific heats of NiCr and NiV alloys near the ferromagnetic-paramagnetic transition

1977
Abstract The magnetic field dependence of the low temperature specific heats of critical concentration alloys of NiCr and NiV has been measured in the range 1−4 K at fields up to 45 kOe. The observed reduction in specific heat with applied field is characteristic of superparamagnetic clusters.
