Mobile communication technologies havebeen advanced andmanykinds ofpersonal digital assistant (PDA)have beendeveloped. Inthis paper, abasic planar antenna printed on dielectric substrate formobile communication isproposed, and analyzed. Thecharacteristics, suchasreturn loss, farfield pattern, andaxial ratio, areobtained byusing theFDTD method, twonew planar antennas characteristics aredeveloped bymodifying the basic planar antenna andapplying ittomobile communications.
