Research on Predictive Functional PID Control Algorithm for Electric Heating Furnace System

Considering the features of the electric heating furnace system,such as large time-delay,time-varying parameters and nonlinear,a novel predictive functional PID(proportion-integral-derivative) control algorithm is proposed by combining predictive functional control algorithm with PID algorithm.A new optimized performance function is obtained by predicting future outputs of the controlled plant.An analytical control solution is computed with optimized parameters in real time.Compared the conventional PID control with predictive functional PID cascade control,simulation results show that the proposed controller can improve the response speed and steady-state accuracy of the system.As this controller shows strong robustness and anti-interference,it can be used to effectively control the electric heating furnace system.
