Taking the Long View: Bee World 75, 50 and 25 Years Ago

AbstractDiscovering historic articles from Bee World and learning that many of the issues that matter to us today as beekeepers, bee scientists and conservationists were important in the past too. In this issue we explore some articles from the spring issues when in 1940 arsenic pesticides were a problem, publication of a 300 year old manuscript in 1965 and, 25 years ago, a new method to raise bumble bees in captivity was published.
