Dynamic-Vector Collaborative Learning Tool

2005
Game playing in a classroom setting can be an important aspect of active learning techniques. Games such as Jeopardy provide a means for an engaging review of course material prior to an exam or other course milestone. These games are typically created for a single purpose—intended to be used for a specific activity in a specific class. In an effort to overcome this limitation, the authors have utilized SVG, asynchronous communications, and XML to create a Jeopardy-like game that is engaging, multi-user, and easily configurable.
