Abstract The action of anticancer drugs thiotepa and lomustine and of E and A vitamins on Walker rat tumor chromatin (the complex of DNA and proteins from eukariotic cells) were analysed by the thermal transition of chromatin, by the determination of chromatin tyrosine and tryptophane intrinsic fluorescence and of fluorescence intensity of chromatin-ethidium bromide complexes, by 3 H-thymidine and 32 P-phosphate uptake in chromatin and chromatin components.
