Mössbauer effect with 137La

Mossbauereffect with a radioactive absorber of 6⋅104y 137La was observed. Spectra for the system CeO2−LaCrO3 and CeO2−La2O3 have been fitted and yielded values for the quadrupole interactions and the ratio of the quadrupole moments of the ground and excited state.
