Microstructure and fast ionic conduction of inorganic fluoride and oxide eutectic composites prepared from the melt

The relationships between the nominal composition, growth conditions, phase composition, microstructure, and fast fluoride-ion conduction was studied in superionic fluoride and oxide eutectic composites prepared from the melt. Enhanced fracture toughness was observed in the composites.
