The application of Cumulative Sum control chart in public health surveillance

The Cumulative Sum control chart (CUSUM)techniques have been applied widely in public health surveillance in resent years since it was used in the study from industrial quality control to medical problems. Particularly,studies on early aberration alarm and procedure surveillance have been conducted extensively at abroad but there are few in China. The application of CUSUM techniques in public health surveillance in these international studies is reviewed in this article. Key words: Public health; Surveillance; Cumulative Sum control chart
