EnglishThis article describes the book of poems Zonas comunes (2011) written by Almudena Guzman. First we describe the main themes found in it (unemployment, technologies and individual alienation), then we com-pare these aspects with the work of some other contemporary Spanish poets in which the same concerns of commitment or denunciation of social inequalities are reflected. Our contribution includes biographical data about Guzman that has not been considered until now, we take into account her previous lite-rary career and we note how her intimate voice continues in this last collection of poems. Through an analysis of the structure of the poems, we suggest that they were written in an inverse order to that in which they were finally published.
