A knowledge-based support environment for dynamic systems modelling

1990
The Knowledge-based Environment for Modelling and Simulation (KEMS) was developed as a result of a study done at the Control Engineering Department to find an ideal simulation language for simulating large systems. The paper describes the design and implementation of a prototype KEMS. Progress is also reported on current attempts to design simulation and database interfaces which will provide additional facilities for model experimentation, validation, archiving and documentation. >
