Viewgraphs for the conference presentation are given. The author reports technical progress in the research and development of cable-in-conduit internally-cooled superconductors; the design, construction and test of EBT-P magnets; the tests of Westinghouse/Airco Nb/sub 3/Sn conductors; partial-array test in IFSMTF; the evaluation of pressure taps on the Westinghouse conductor sheath; and IFSMTF vapor-cooled-lead tests. 12 figs., 1 tab.
