Between November 10 and 17, five pre-workshop courses were offered in which content was discussed and deepened in order to improve the quality of life of patients with alterations in dental occlusion and to promote multidisciplinary and interdisciplinary good dental practices. As professors of pre-Taller courses, they entered into the following subjects: Research and scientific article MSc. Dayami Bembibre Mozo, in Occlusion in the bucomaxillofacial prosthesis MSc. The keynotes of the MSc were highlighted. Dr. Rosaralis Arrieta Garcia "Genetics and bruxism", from MSc. Dr. Pablo Hernandez Figaredo "Coping resources for stress". The MSc. Dr. Manuel Labrada Salvat and Dr.C. Maria de Lourdes de la Cruz Aragoneses with the theme "Oxidation, corrosion by deposition of amalgams, volumetric changes and ingestion of mercury in bruxopatas". The MSc. Dr. Julio Barciela Calderon and Dr. Miriela Betancourt Valladares with the "Body posture and alterations of the occlusion" and "The physiological mechanisms of pain". During the scientific discussion that followed the topics approached from different research perspectives, the dissertation that was highlighted by a coherent, interdisciplinary and promising debate for the development of science was "Genetics and bruxism". The plenary conclusions resulting from the collective discussion and those of greater relevance were related to protocolizing actions aimed at the treatment of patients with bruxism at the different levels of care, the value of the clinical history as an instrument in the examination of the stomatognathic system, the repercussion of the previous guide of the occlusion in the evaluation of the dental interferences, the occlusal splints in the Orthognathic, and the probabilistic prediction and interception of causal factors.
